A new Colorado wine importer
Wine made by people, from a place.
We’re looking for small producers and farmers, starting with France and Italy, and bringing their wines home to the small shops, restaurants and tables of Colorado.
We’re new and we’ll say so plainly. Our federal and state licensing is filed and waiting on approval, and our first conversations with growers have begun.
What we look for
Farmers, small houses, and wine that tastes of where it grew.
“We wanna sell wine made by people from a place. We wanna work with farmers.” That’s it, in our own words.
Farmers first
People who grow their own grapes and make the wine themselves. The vineyard work is the part we care about most.
Small production
Family estates and small domaines, the kind that rarely find their way to a Colorado shelf on their own.
A sense of place
Soil, slope, weather and the people who know them. Wine that could only come from where it was made.
Producer pages
Here’s how we’d present your wine.
Every producer we bring in gets a real page with some depth to it. Who you are, where your vines grow, what’s in the ground, what you make, and tech sheets to download.
The portfolio is being built now. We’re in conversation with our first producer, and a friend in Tuscany is helping us meet more. We’d rather grow slowly with the right people than fill a list quickly.

Why we do this
The farmer at the café
About twenty years ago, one of us was backpacking through France in March. In the middle of the day, in a small café in the Côte d’Or, a farmer sat at a table still covered in the day’s dirt, boots muddy, with a small baguette, a hunk of cheese and a bottle of wine.
“That guy is probably the happiest person in the world.”
That’s the whole idea. Small houses connecting with other small houses: a family farm in France or Italy, and a neighborhood shop, a restaurant, a table in Colorado.
The name comes from a view: a window seat looking out over vineyards. One of us found it in France, the other in Italy. Our logo is drawn from that view.
Distributors in other states
Looking for an importer of small producers?
As our portfolio grows we’d like to work with distributors outside Colorado who care about the same kind of wine. Let’s talk early.

Send a note and we’ll let you know when the first producers arrive, with tasting notes and sheets in hand.
